Teacher Ellen Murch on MeWe

Ellen graduated in 2014 with her music degree from Grove City College and loves to teach all ages the joy of music. She specializes in teaching violin and piano and does lessons in the music room of her home. Ellen teaches both fiddle and classical style on violin, and piano accompaniment to fiddling, piano improv, hymns, and classical. Ellen has students participate in Spring and Christmas recitals, often playing with the students or having students play together. A more informal get together known as “studio class” happens every so often where, instead of featuring individuals, everyone does scales and musical exercises as a group, and then class ends with everyone playing a group piece scored for each individual’s level.
